U.S. Veterans Escort Tons of of Afghan Allies to Airport for Evacuation in Daring Operation

With the August 31 withdrawal deadline on the horizon, 1000’s of Afghan collaborators stay trapped within the war-torn nation, determined to flee the Taliban. On Wednesday evening, a casual group of former American Afghan struggle fighters collectively referred to as “Process Power Pineapple” escorted as many as 500 Afghan allies and their households to the Kabul airport for emergency evacuation.

Collaborating with the U.S. army and embassy, the volunteer veterans brigade helped refugees navigate the treacherous journey by Taliban territory to the safe U.S. boarding zone at Hamid Karzai Worldwide Airport, members of the group informed ABC Information.
